VlogMint is designed as a local-first application. We do not automatically upload, scan, or store your videos, photos, audio recordings, or project compositions on our servers. All media processing, encoding, waveform rendering, and exports happen 100% offline on your device hardware. A source video leaves your device only when you explicitly select it as an attachment to a support email or share media through the Android system share flow.

1. Introduction

Welcome to VlogMint ("we", "our", "us", or the "Application"), developed by VB Apps Studio. This Privacy Policy governs your use of the VlogMint Android application (com.vbappsstudio.vlogmint) and explains how we handle your information.

By installing, accessing, or using VlogMint, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the Application.

2. User Content & Media Privacy

Your privacy is our utmost priority. VlogMint operates under strict data-minimization standards:

Zero Automatic Cloud Media Storage: Videos, pictures, audio clips, voiceovers, timeline sequences, and project files remain on your device unless you explicitly share them.
No Account Required: You do not need to register an account, sign in, or provide personal details (such as your name or email address) to use VlogMint's core editing features.
Non-Destructive Editing: We never alter your original media files. Exported videos are generated as new files in your device's storage.
Export Control: Exported videos are published to your device's public media gallery only when you explicitly export them. Sharing exported videos to third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) occurs solely via your manual interaction with the Android system share sheet.
Support Attachments: If you choose “Needs improvement,” VlogMint lets you select a source video and opens an email draft addressed to support. The selected file is attached only through your explicit selection and is not sent until you choose to send the email. You can remove the attachment before sending.

3. Information We Collect Automatically

While your creative content stays strictly on your device, the Application integrates industry-standard third-party developer libraries to provide ad support, app stability monitoring, and remote configuration:

A. Advertising Identifiers & Analytics Data

VlogMint uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to serve advertisements that support the free version of our app. Google Mobile Ads may collect:

Google Advertising ID (AD_ID): Used for ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and personalized ads (unless opted out).
Device Information: Device model, manufacturer, operating system version, carrier, and screen dimensions.
Coarse Location & IP Address: Used for general regional ad serving and fraud detection.
Ad interaction and performance data: Ad format and placement, request/load/display outcomes, coarse latency, numeric error codes, impressions, clicks, dismissals, rewarded completions, and impression-level revenue estimates including currency and mediation provider. VlogMint does not include project names, filenames, media content, ad unit IDs, response IDs, or raw SDK error messages in these analytics events.

B. Crash Reporting & Diagnostics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose unexpected crashes and improve performance. Diagnostic reports contain:

Stack traces, error logs, and app state at the time of a crash.
Hardware specifications (CPU architecture, available RAM, disk space).
No personal data or media content is ever captured in crash traces.

C. Performance & Session Telemetry

VlogMint integrates Microsoft Clarity to analyze UI usability and identify bottlenecks. Clarity records interaction events (e.g., button taps, navigation switches, UI render times).

User video frames, imported media thumbnails, and text inputs are strictly masked and excluded from recording.
Session telemetry is controlled by our remote configuration flag and can be toggled dynamically.

D. Push Notifications (OneSignal)

VlogMint uses OneSignal to deliver optional push notifications such as product updates and relevant service messages. OneSignal may process a device push token, application version, device and operating-system information, language, time zone, notification permission status, notification delivery or interaction events, and in-app purchase events used for analytics and messaging segmentation. Purchase events do not include credit-card details, bank credentials, billing addresses, or Google Play purchase tokens. VlogMint does not send source media, project names, filenames, file paths, or exported video content to OneSignal.

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

VlogMint offers optional in-app purchases and subscriptions (such as VlogMint Pro) to remove ads, unlock premium exports, and access exclusive editing features:

Payment Processing: All financial transactions are processed securely and directly by Google Play In-App Billing. VB Apps Studio never accesses, stores, or processes your credit card details, bank credentials, or billing address.
Purchase Tokens: Google Play provides our application with an anonymous purchase token to verify your entitlement status locally on your device.
Subscription Management: You can manage, cancel, or modify your subscription at any time via your Google Play account settings.

5. Device Permissions Requested

Permission	Purpose
`READ_MEDIA_VIDEO` / `READ_MEDIA_IMAGES`	Allows you to select videos and photos to import into your video editor project.
`RECORD_AUDIO`	Used exclusively when you tap the voiceover recording tool to record audio directly onto the project timeline. Audio is saved locally on your device.
`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	Sends export status notifications and, when you opt in, push notifications delivered through OneSignal.
`INTERNET` & `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`	Required to fetch remote configuration presets, load AdMob advertisements, and report crash diagnostics.
`com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID`	Required by Google Play Services on Android 13+ to provide the Google Advertising ID for ad services.
`com.android.vending.BILLING`	Required to communicate with Google Play Billing for in-app purchases and subscriptions.

VlogMint is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. 8. Your Rights & Data Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as under GDPR in Europe or CCPA/CPRA in California), you have rights regarding your information:

Resetting Advertising ID: You can reset your Google Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time via Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.
Revoking Permissions: You can revoke camera, audio, or notification permissions at any time via Android App Settings.
Cache Clearing: You can purge all temporary preview frames and audio waveforms directly in VlogMint Settings > Storage & Cache > Clear Cache.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product enhancements, legal requirements, or monetization updates. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
